Tinand cont , ca ati citit tutorialele cu TCP/IP si tot ce am mai postat la aecasta sectiune si aveti habar cat de cat ce e ala un IP , un subnet mask , ce e ala un DHCP server , { nu uitati ca un DHCP server are roul de a da IP-uri} , putem sa trecem la vorba.

Deci hai sa explicam o faza.DHCP server are roul de a da IP-uri in reteaua / subreteaua in care acesta se afla , de exemplu , se afla in subreteaua 192.168.1.0/24 , el va da IP-uri la aceasta retea , el insusi avand un IP din aceasta retea sa zicem 192.168.1.3 . un exemplu aleator nimic mai mult.El se bazeaza pe fafupt ca clienti vor trimite un DHCP discovery query si el se va uita si le va face o oferata cu un IP din aceasta baza de date cu IP-uri pe are acesta o are ( se numeste scop ).

Dar daca vrem , mai mult , vrem ca un DHCP server , sa dea IP-uri in mai multe retele / subertele ? de exeplu avem o clasa de IP-uri gen 10.10.10.0/24 si o impartim in patru suberetele 10.10.10.0/26 .. 10.10.10.65/26 .. etc.. ? si vrem ca aceasli DHCP server 10.10.10.3 sa dea IP-uri in toate cele 4 subrtele ?Dupa cum stiti cu toti ,sau macar cativa , rotuerle nu lasa sa treaca broadcasturile , de discovery DHCP query , dupa ele , de aceeea sunt de level 3 , deci ce ne facem cum va ajunge un query ditr- subretea in ata ca repsectivul DHCP setver sa dea IP-uri in mai multe subretele , zis si facut e simpu, , se numeste DHCP Relay Agent , este un protcol de routare { gen RIP , OSPF } , care are roulu sa lasa clienti din alte subretele/retele sa ia IP-uri dinamic de la unnDHCP din alta subretea decat clientul. deci cand cineva va va intreba aceasta chestie veti sti ce sa rapundeti si veti avea habar de idee macar.

Oricum lucrurile sunt mult rpea complicate pentru inceatori , si de aceea voi prezenta doar in mare cum se folsoeste si ce face acest protocol de routare.

Implementam un DHCP relay agent in remote subnet ( udne sunt clienti } , pentru a prinde si a trimite DHCP discovery message { mesaje care cauta un DHCP server sic er o adresa , trimtie la 255.255.255.255 , broadcast IP } le va trmtie catre remote DHCP server care este cofnigurat in protoccolulDHCP relay agent.Zis si facut sper ca nu rpea complciat nu ?

Computerul nu trebuie sa aiba functie de routare neaparat intre cele doue subretele , si nu uitati el decat forwadeaza esaje query pentru IP dinamic , la DHCP server remote , nu e practic un DHCP server , e doar un rotocol ed rotuare configura pe server..
